develop with every client we serve. They are the foundation of our success.
Ken
Kemp, President, has nearly 30 years of experience
in every phase of print production and publication management, with emphasis
on composition, design, prepress, digital publishing, and content management.
Prior to starting Scriptoria
he was a Publishing Systems Consultant with Auto-Graphics, a company that
provides dynamic database publishing. He has also been affiliated with
both Automated Graphic Systems and The Sheridan Group, serving as the account
executive for a diverse group of journal and trade publishers and associations.
While at Sheridan he was instrumental in the creation, design and implementation
of web sites for the American Nurses Association and the American Anthropological
Association, and worked with the Industrial Research Institute to redesign
their web site. Ken was Director of Sales and Marketing for Mercury Publishing
Services for 11 years, and Composition Manager for the American Correctional
Association for approximately 4 years. During his tenure at ACA he was
responsible for the conversion from proprietary typesetting to the association's
first WSYWIG system, and he developed a dedicated OCR scanning system for
editorial input.
